Synesis achieves VMware VIP Enterprise Partner authorization
Synesis announced that it has been formally accredited as a VMware VIP Enterprise Partner after having met the relevant technical and commercial criteria to join this exclusive channel program.
The announcement of having been awarded a number of accolades in the Data Storage arena represents the diversity of Synesis' business and reflects the company's eagerness to respond to the growth in Storage and Server Virtualization.
"Both our current and prospective customers are looking to engage a partner who not only understands the Storage Virtualization element but can also apply this to Server Virtualization. Our formal accreditation as an Enterprise Partner with VMware endorses our ability to scope, provide and support a complete Virtualization Solution,"Commented Conrad Shoup, Practice Director at Synesis; "We currently have a large number of enterprise customers using Synesis' Virtualization Implementation technology to move applications among sets of servers, reacting quickly to changing computing needs. "Virtualization is a lot less about saving costs than you might think, though that is an important factor," says Mushi Bhuiyan, CEO of Synesis. "It's more about flexibility. It truly provides quantifiable savings by reducing IT infrastructure." He calls virtualization one of the biggest developments in the server field of this decade. "Anything that can be in a virtual machine will be," Mr. Bhuiyan says. "If any large organization is not looking at this, it is really missing the boat."
Synesis already partners a number of Storage Virtualization vendors and has enjoyed great success in the sector over the past few years. Mr. Bhuiyan also outlined how additional strategic partnerships specific to Virtualization are being investigated: "We are actively investigating complimentary Virtualization offerings as we strive to keep our customers informed about the latest solutions that are aligned with this constantly evolving architecture."
